Generant un parell de claus per encriptar amb gpg via ssh, s'ha produït l'error:

pinentry: cannot connect to X server

Això és degut a un intent de mostrar a l'X un diàleg per introduïr la passphrase. Es tracta d'un paràmetre que depen de com s'hagi fet la instalació de gnupg.

La solució és canviar la configuració de gpg-agent (qui crida a pinentry) per tal de que el sistema empri un altre mètode.

Això és editant gpg-agent.conf, que en el meu cas no existia, així doncs l'he creat així:

~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf

El contingut del fitxer és aquest:

pinentry-program /usr/bin/pinentry-curses

I arreglat ;)
